Product Description and Guidelines
Make sure you continue to follow all recommended USPS safety guidelines and procedures while delivering mail and using the BOXCOMMANDER. If you experience discomfort or pain in your fingers, hand or wrist that you feel may be due to using the BOXCOMMANDER – discontinue using it immediately!
Be aware that the BOXCOMMANDER is engineered to provide long service and near un-breakability. It is stronger than your finger! Never pull away from a delivery point until your hand is completely back in the vehicle. The unit should be sized so that it easily slides on and off your finger.
Please allow an adjustment period when you first begin using this product as it will alter the way you open and close your mailboxes. We think that once you are comfortable using the BOXCOMMANDER you will not want to deliver mail without it!
Just a personal note: When I initially designed and tested the BOXCOMMANDER, I wore a bandage strip on my finger as a cushion until my finger became acclimated to using the product.
Sizing information and suggestions:
1. Make sure you know the correct size of the finger on which you will wear the unit. It is recommended that you wear the BOXCOMMANDER on your middle finger.
2. The band on the unit is wide (for comfort and stability) and doesn’t fit like a narrow ring.
3. Consider ordering up if your ring size is near the unit actual size and your fingers sometimes swell.
Small: Unit actual ring size = 8 (band width = 1/2″)
Medium: Unit actual ring size = 10.5 (band width = 5/8″)
Large: Unit actual ring size = 13 (band width = 5/8″)
X-Large: Unit actual ring size = 15 (band width = 5/8″)

I have been using the box commander for about 2 weeks now, and I am utterly amazed at how a simple thing like this could make such a huge difference in so many ways. It is so much easier to open the clamshell boxes that sit low to the ground. (hard to reach from LLV) .. my wrist is feeling better, my knuckles feel better, no more “EEWWW! spiders and spider webs” I could go on…. I think this should be standard issue to all rural carriers.

Excellent product. Saves on cut fingers and bruised knuckles.
It took a couple of days to get used to it, but since then I wouldn’t want to deliver without it.
Just have to remember to remove it when serving the centralized delivery points.
I carry mine to every meeting I go to and show others how it works.
Hope you sell a boatload of them.

I love this! I know it says it may take a bit to adjust to using it, but it took me about 15 boxes in and I knew.
I am ordering backups now in case I lose one or something.
One of the other carriers in my office ordered too.
I can’t say enough if you are on the fence just do it!
I noticed that it decreases the use of tendons in the wrist area and that is awesome for all the repetitive movements we all do, it also decreases the amount of shoulder involved in tugggggging on those frozen misshapen boxes.
Can you tell I love it?

After using the BOXCOMMANDER for a week and wearing a band-aid on my finger underneath it to get used to it, I will not deliver mail without it.
I wear mine to meetings and conventions and wear a string of the four different sizes around my neck. That way carriers know the exact size for their hand.
Thank you for a product that works as advertised.

I find the BOXCOMMANDER to be a very good product. I can deliver mail without gloves in temperatures as low as 10 degrees Fahrenheit. My hand does’t get cold as it does not touch the cold mailboxes.

The greatest thing in the world, if you deliver mail. It is so nice not to have to fight to open a box it. It works great in bad weather too. I have it in different sizes for when wearing gloves in cold weather. It is so simple to use. It just works and it works very, very well.

Great product. I have some of the worst rusted boxes on my route with sticky hard to open and close doors. This product really helps a lot. Unfortunately I have done a lot of damage to my hands and knuckles over the years. I wish I had known about this sooooo much sooner. I am going to take mine to my next union meeting so everyone can get to benefit from this great product. So glad someone thought of this!

If you deliver mail, then you NEED to have the Box Commander. It helps to save your hands and you don’t have to touch the box any longer. Great in all kinds of bad weather. Once you get used to using it, it is a MUST. I feel naked when I don’t use it. Perfect 10.

I have been using my Boxcommander for two days now and I have to say it has made my life so much easier when it come to delivering the mail. It does take just a little getting use too and your fingers get a little sore, but it’s better than split fingers. I highly recommend this product if you love your fingers.

I have loved my box commander for 3 years now and it still works great. The only thing wrong with mine is I have worn out the underside ring part. After wearing it everyday for 3 years things are going to start wearing out. I still use it. It hasnt broke yet. I live in Florida so it rains a lot here, but boy do my hands stay dry. No prune fingers because the rain only touches the back side of my hands. No more having to touch bird poop, frog piss boxes again. If you don’t buy one of these then you don’t know what your missing. I feel naked without my box commander on.

The Box Commander is an excellent product. I’ve been using it for two years. I’m ordering new ones, I don’t want to be without it.

No more bird poop, no more wet-pruny fingers during the rain. 3 years later and I still use this product daily. I feel naked without it. A must have.

This thing is so simple, yet awesome! I have two different sizes I have used for years. Now that my husband is working for the post office, i and purchasing more, because I told him ” he don’t want to deliver the mail without!”

Ok I can’t wait to try it I got a medium and it does not fit. So order up a size of what you think you wear. I’m ordering a large and exlarge just in case I can put one over my glove, let’s hope. Or I have pretty fat fingers. Lol good luck guys and this is a very smart idea…

I have been using my boxcommander on the route for about three years, and I hate going without it! saves me wear and tear from opening boxes, and I’m protected from having to touch rusty, dirty and broken mailboxes. I highly recommend this product! I ordered a replacement for my first one after about two years because the plastic had gradually worn down from constant use – just goes to show how reliable it is 🙂

I absolutely love this thing and promote it to every carrier I see. It took me a good week to get use to it, but now I’ll even go back to the office to get it if I forget it on my route. I use it so much that it’s actually starting to get worn on one side. So it’s probably time to order another one! 🙂

Buying more again! I love this product! Hate delivering without it! Saves my Knuckles, and keeps me from freaking out on the side of the road having put a my hand in a spider! Also keeps my hands warm because I don’t have to touch anymore snowy handles! LOVE love love!

I would like to start by saying I received mine really fast after ordering. I was expecting about a two week delivery time, and instead it was just a few days. I practiced a little today on afternoon package runs and it really works very well! All carriers should have this. Once you try it, you won’t want to be without it. I would recommend ordering a size smaller than what the ring chart says. My ring size for my middle finger is fifteen, so I ordered an X-Large as indicated. It’s too large, but still usable because of the way it’s designed. It will come in handy to wear over gloves though. Ordering another one size smaller for use without gloves.

I bought four of these recently and I have to say it is awesome not having to touch most mailboxes! There are still a few that I can’t open with it, but when you are opening 500 regular boxes per day, 5 or 6 is no big deal. I absolutely love it. I bought 4. Two large one medium and one small. I gave one to an RCA and she loves it as well. The large fits perfectly over my glove. The medium fits fine without the glove.

I tried my new Box Commander on the curbside portion of my route today. I thought it made it go a lot faster. Also cut out the scrapes and scratches I normally get from servicing the mail boxes.
