Description
Make sure you continue to follow all recommended USPS safety guidelines and procedures while delivering mail and using the BOXCOMMANDER. If you experience discomfort or pain in your fingers, hand or wrist that you feel may be due to using the BOXCOMMANDER – discontinue using it immediately!
Be aware that the BOXCOMMANDER is engineered to provide long service and near un-breakability. It is stronger than your finger! Never pull away from a delivery point until your hand is completely back in the vehicle. The unit should be sized so that it easily slides on and off your finger.
Please allow an adjustment period when you first begin using this product as it will alter the way you open and close your mailboxes. We think that once you are comfortable using the BOXCOMMANDER you will not want to deliver mail without it!
Just a personal note: When I initially designed and tested the BOXCOMMANDER, I wore a bandage strip on my finger as a cushion until my finger became acclimated to using the product.
Sizing information and suggestions:
1. Make sure you know the correct size of the finger on which you will wear the unit. It is recommended that you wear the BOXCOMMANDER on your middle finger.
2. The band on the unit is wide (for comfort and stability) and doesn’t fit like a narrow ring.
3. Consider ordering up if your ring size is near the unit actual size and your fingers sometimes swell.
Small: Unit actual ring size = 8 (band width = 1/2″)
Medium: Unit actual ring size = 10.5 (band width = 5/8″)
Large: Unit actual ring size = 13 (band width = 5/8″)
X-Large: Unit actual ring size = 15 (band width = 5/8″)
